2007:
Sigma takes advantage of Microsoft .NET framework for increased speed
and interoperability with .NET (e.g. SQL server 2005).
2006: Sigma
is now an OLE automation server which allows you to fully control it
via another program such as VB, Delphi, Office or other applications.
Sigma now supports access to data through Microsoft ADO. This allows
faster access to SQL data (Oracle, MS SQL server...) and greater
flexibility in custom queries. It also improves the connection to
MS-Access. We added row-wise calculated fields. The equation editor
supports most spreadsheet style functions. This allows derived fields
from your raw data, scaling or complex manipulation of stored data.
Example: two absolute measurement locations. Derived field is difference
of the two, which is then plotted. |
